If You’ve Ever Lost a Glove, Look for it in Edinburgh

Slept til 9:30am GMT today. Jet-lag, be gone!

Speaking of Greenwich Time, glad we were at home for breakfast and lunch: BBC radio story about the pips was worth the unintentional sleep-in. See also, this news story, among others.

Next, a few hours of walking outdoors to get the lay of the land.

Dundee and Hanover Street (same). Out to Ferry Road just to see how far it was. Not too. Popped into the Royal Botanic Garden for the loo; left a few pence in the donation box to say thanks. We’ll be heading back there often and soon.

Strolled through Inverleith Park (54 acres!) and then dined at Scottish Curry Awards Best of Edinburgh 2014 awardees Shezan for supper.

Fine weather, albeit windy from time to time. Must explain the ubiquity of the single “lost” glove; they’re everywhere.
