Royal Hortonbaums

After walking — in glorious sunshine and bitey-brisk wind — to view a second option for lodging, we stopped into Coco for a warm-up. Visually, aurally, and even gustatorily, it was a Wes Anderson-influenced moment. In a good way. The clerk was delightful; and E hopes she will take a break from the chocolate life to see The Grand Budapest Hotel already.

Made initial contact, beyond gawking at the window display, with Valvona & Crolla, which is molto more than mini-whiskies.
